Create an EL storage bucket

(Instructions currently only available in German)

Bucket name

The name must be unique for all bucket names present in Wasabi

Region

The geographic location where the bucket should be created

Bucket versioning

When bucket versioning is enabled, every version of every object in the bucket is stored. You can then retrieve and restore any version of an object in the bucket. This protects against accidental removal of an object (for example, by overwriting or deleting it). Note: Use versioning wisely, as different versions of all objects are stored in the bucket when versioning is enabled. This means that the cost of storing versions may be very high

Bucket logging

When bucket logging is enabled, a text log is kept of all accesses to the bucket. It contains details about the type of access requests, the resources requested, and the date/time of the processed requests. Note: Please use logging wisely, because when it is enabled, all log files are saved. This means that the cost of storing log files may be high

Object locking

Object locking prevents objects from being deleted or overwritten for a specified time or indefinitely. Versioning must be active for a bucket before locking can be enabled. Object locking can only be enabled when the bucket is created. Once activated, object locking cannot be deactivated

List of all EL storage accounts

Clicking on the EL storage button in the main navigation of the CP opens the complete list of all accounts that are managed via the interface.
